It had rained most of the morning confining me indoors. When it finally stopped, I walked through my garden with my macro lens. As I clicked away at the roses my wife lovingly tends to year after year, I was reminded of the poetic words William Carlos William had written:"A profusion of pink roses bending ragged in the rain speaks to me of all gentleness and its enduring".
